Smartphone Tertipis di Dunia Dibanderol Rp4,2 Juta

BEIJING - Gionee Elife S5.5 menyandang predikat sebagai smartphone tertipis di dunia. Smartphone yang dipamerkan di ajang Mobile World Congress (MWC) pada bulan lalu ini mulai dijual pada 18 Maret 2014.

Seperti namanya, smartphone ini hanya memiliki ketebalan 5,5 mm dan diklaim sebagai yang tertipis di dunia. Demikian dilansir Phone Arena, Jumat (14/3/2014).

Gionee Elife S5.5 yang akan diluncurkan di China pada pekan depan dijual seharga USD374 atau setara Rp4,2 juta (R11.379 per USD) untuk versi 3G. Sedangkan untuk versi LTE akan meluncur pada Juni 2014.

Tak hanya di China, Gionee berjanji smartphone besutannya akan diluncurkan ke lebih dari 40 negara lainnya secara bertahap.

Smartphone berbasis sistem operasi (OS) Android ini memiliki layar Super AMOLED 5 inci (1080 x 1920 piksel), prosesor octa-core 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592, memori internal 16GB, dan RAM 2GB. Selain itu juga dibekali kamera belakang 13 megapiksel, kamera depan 5 megapiksel, dan baterai 2.300mAh.
